In an edict by Sheikh Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Mohammad Hossein Ostad Agha, was appointed the new managing director of Karamat Razavi Foundation.

Ostad Agha was formerly an advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the director general of Culture and Islamic Guidance Department in Qom Province.

In his appointment order, Hoj. Marvi has emphasized on strengthening religious and revolutionary approaches to perform social and support roles, along with enhancing the quality of services, expanding services to the needy and the disadvantaged by using the capacities of the people and servant assistantship, and fostering voluntary participation of the people especially over attracting endowments and vows.

Using the capacity of state and provincial institutions and organizations, and exercising financial and administrative discipline in all of the foundation’s activities were other recommendations by the chief custodian to the new managing director.

As a public institution, Karamat Razavi Foundation is working under the supervision of the chief custodian to funnel Astan Quds Razavi resources into the public activities. AQR is the body in charge of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

Rendering services to Arba’een pilgrims, disaster relief, providing social services to the disadvantaged, international cultural activities and public and infrastructure activities are five areas of activity of the foundation.
