Razavi Holy Shrine Was Replete with Joy and Light on Imam Hasan Askari’s (A.S.) Birth Anniversary

Razavi Holy Shrine was replete with joy and happiness concurrent with Imam Hasan Askari’s (A.S.) birth anniversary. Many various celebrations had been arranged by Astan Quds Razavi.
According to Astan News, after reciting Aminallah supplication and eulogies of panegyrists of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) in Imam Khomeini (R.A.) Portico on the occasion of Imam Hasan Askari’s (A.S.) birth anniversary, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Habibollah Farahzad delivered his lecture. This ceremony was held after evening and night prayers.
Noting that Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.) was only 28 year old when he became martyred, he stated, “The Imam (A.S.) followed three important mission during his lifetime”.

Three Missions of Imam Hasan Askari
The orator of the Razavi Shrine reiterated, “These three missions of Imam (A.S.) include being aware of his duty, his Imam (A.S.) of the time, and his enemy which are all considered as three significant issues of increasing insight”.

He stated, “To revive Shia school of thought and to preserve Shia heritage, Imam Hasan Askari created a wide range of communications with elites of Shia people in various cities so that necessary readiness for the leadership of Imam Mahdi (A.S.) can be attained”.

Mandegari added, “During his leadership, Imam Askari (A.S.) left lots of great political and social movements and also precious jurisprudential and interpretative works”.

Introducing infallible Imams (A.S.) as the mediators and guides to help humans to reach to the divine vicinity, he reiterated, “Recognizing Imam and trainer is the first step in promoting insight. Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.) also tried to make people aware of this principle of Imamat (leadership) and its effects”.

This university and seminary professor added, “One of the activities of Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.) in paving the way for the absence of Imam Mahdi (A.S.) was raising this issue sooner than its time. He had announced absence of his son, next Imam (A.S.), several times and made the people and society of that time ready for this issue”.

Heavy Burden of Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.)
Noting that God has appointed Prophet (S.A.W.) and infallible Imams (A.S.) as the guides of the humanity, he stated, “The hard job of Imam Mahdi was to make people believe that Imam (A.S.) is present during his absence period although in secret" Mandegari said, “According to Imams’ (A.S.) words, when Imam is not present, we have to refer to the jurists of the time. Imam (A.S.) in a tradition says: To resolve your problems in political, devotional, economic, military, cultural, and social issues refer to the narrators of the traditions and jurists as they are my representatives and proofs during absence era and I am God’s representative and proof to them”.

He emphasized, “Of course, every jurist should not be referred. Those clergymen who are following world arrogance’s goals will mislead the society”.

Emphasizing that Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.) was trying wide spread the concept of recognizing enemies among people of his time, this seminary professor stated, “Recognizing enemy and being aware of him and his plots has got a very paramount role in confrontation with foes”. He also said, “If one has lots of power in his confrontation but less amount of information and guidance, he will be defeated. Holy Qura’an has also referred to various kinds of enemies and level of their hostility which I do not talk about them because of lack of time”.
