Razavi Hospital, affiliated to Astan Quds Razavi, has kicked off the third International Razavi Cardiovascular Congress hosting a great number of Iranian and foreign cardiologists in Mashhad.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the congress which had AQR’s chief custodian in attendance, Dr. Mahmoud Mohammadzadeh Shabestari the head of AQR’s Health Foundation referred to the previous rounds of the congress and said: “The scientific event will host Iranian and foreign surgeons and cardiologists from 19 countries.”
Shabestari added: “Today, we are so honored and happy to hold the third congress better than before since this year’s event hosts a wider participation on the part of international guests; the congress grandeur is direct result of nothing but Imam Reza’s (AS) special attention.”
“The congress is hosting over 40 foreign cardiologists and surgeons most of whom are heads of the world’s most prestigious cardiovascular scientific associations or from among most salient physicians in the world”, Dr. Shabestari revealed.
Shabestari pointed to the 700 nominations for the congress, saying: “20 Iranian medical universities and four international cardiovascular associations will exchange their latest findings and achievements in the congress.”
“The scientific gathering will also provide the participants with three live heart surgeries to be conducted in Razavi Hospital in Mashhad and Shahid Rajaie Cardiovascular, Medical and Research Center in Tehran,” he further noted, adding “Live images will be accessible via video channels worldwide.”
The opening ceremony of the three-day congress also saw an address by Dr. Ferydoon Noohi head of Iranian Cardiovascular Association in which he thanked AQR for holding the third International Cardiovascular Congress.
