No decision shall be made in Astan Quds Razavi without consultation with experts and collective opinion.
The statement was made by Mostafa Khaksar Qahrudi, the vice custodian of Astan Quds Razavi in an assembly of the guardians of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.
Stating that all pilgrims irrespective of their appearance, race, nationality and political affinities deserve respectful behavior at the holy shrine, the official recommended the servants and officials to behave with the pilgrims in full respect.
He further stressed that the behavior of the servants of the holy shrine must be on the path to manifest the conduct of Imam Reza (AS).
"It is an honor for us to serve at the holy shrine of Imam Reza," he said, adding, "We must make decisions in consultation with experts to facilitate conditions for pilgrimage."
Elsewhere, the vice custodian of Astan Quds Razavi asked for seriousness of the servants in fulfilling their commitments, "while observing principles of respect, politeness and Islamic ethics."
Meeting pilgrims' demands, he noted, was Astan Quds Razavi's major concern, therefore, "We will do our best to render the best services as far as we can afford and to that end, neither hardships nor fatigue can stop us."
Khaksar Qahrudi touched upon the importance of decision-making at Astan Quds Razavi, expressing readiness for constructive complaints and proposals. "No decision is expected to be free from faults; therefore, we will refer to the public and experts' opinions before implementing a new plan."
The vice custodian of Astan Quds Razavi pointed to the behavior of servants outside the holy shrine, asking them to behave in a way that deserves the name and dignity of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
