The acting head of Astan Quds Razavi’s Department for Women and Family Affairs, announced the holding of an international conference dubbed Models of Patience at the holy shrine of Imam Reza. The event aims to honor the families of martyrs of the 1980-1988 Iraqi imposed war on Iran as well as the Holy Shrine Defenders who have lost their lives in Syria and Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
In a conversation with Astan News correspondent, Fatemeh Dejbord said that the conference is organized by the AQR Women and Family Department. The international event will be held concurrently with the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein’s sister, Hazrat Zainab, a highly revered figure among Shia Muslims.
The holy shrine of Imam Reza will play host to the international conference. Families of martyrs, particularly the ‘holy shrine defenders’, war veterans as well as female activists from across Iran and the Muslim world will attend the event.
