In the series of conferences of Rezvan Ambassadors, the solutions to unity in the Islamic society by emphasizing on the role of Razavi conduct were examined.
According to Astan News correspondent, in a series of conferences of “Rezvan Ambassadors” which was held by the efforts of the management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, today evening, at the conference hall of the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi, Yahya Jahangiri, the head of International Office of the University of Religions explained the solutions to unity in the Islamic society with emphasis on the Razavi conduct.
He argued that some Muslims instead of referring to the principle of religion, consider the secondary principles of religion aforehand and said, “One of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) practical solutions to maintain unity was that he did not allow the main and secondary questions to be alternated.”
“Imam Reza (A.S.) also believed that scientific discussion would reveal the truth and knowledge and in the course of discussion one must not denigrate others and fuel the religious conflicts,” Jahangiri said.
Stating that a part of the Shi’a-Sunni controversy is based on incorrect judgments, he added, “This magnanimous Imam created interfaith dialogue and scientifically answered all Shi’ite and Sunni questions and he never allowed religious ignorance to take root in the world.”
“The Supreme Leader, resorting to the teachings of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) set up a university called Islamic religions in order to reduce these differences, so that all religions would study alongside each other” the head of International Office of the University of Religions expressed.
“Enmity among Muslims is due to the ignorance and the contrast exercised by the enemies and if there is justice, there will be no hostility,” Jahangiri commented.
He described a practical solution for Muslims unity as an interfaith dialogue and emphasized, “In the current situation, we need Imam Reza (A.S.) more than the past, because if today there is war and blood, it is due to religious ignorance.”
“Be unity ambassadors and harbingers in your country, undoubtedly your unity and convergence will surely inspire the advent of the Imam Mahdi (A.S.) and to achieve this we have no alternative but unity,” he said to non-Iranian pilgrims.
It is worth mentioning that the series of conferences of Rezvan Ambassadors with the presence of more than 400 non-Iranian pilgrims from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq and Syria was held at the Tabarsi Hall of Astan Quds Razavi Islamic Research Foundation.
