Full Readiness of 15 Emergency Bases during Last Days of Safar

Treatment manager of Astan Quds Razavi’s medical institute announced on full readiness of fifteen fixed and mobile emergency bases at Razavi Shrine during last ten days of Safar.
In an interview with Astan News reporter, Hasan Akhavan Mahdavi, treatment manager of Astan Quds Razavi’s medical institute, stressed, "With respect to large number of pilgrims and Mashhadi people during last ten days of Safar at Razavi Holy Shrine, fifteen free and 24/7 medical emergency bases will host patients in during these".
He referred to the services of eight fixed 24/7 bases of this kind at Razavi Shrine during the usual days of the year and said, "Mobile emergency bases will be added to these eight ones to maintain people’s health. This is done so that all lovers and devotees of this great Imam (A.S.) can do their mourning ceremonies in last days of Safar with no special concern".
Akhavan Mahdavi referred to the 24-hour activity of Imam’s (A.S.) Dar al-Shifa in U-turn of Sheikh Tousi sanctuary and added, "The center’s number of medical staff including doctors and nurses will be increased up to almost two times during these days so that pilgrims can enjoy services of general practitioners, emergency, injections, serum and dressing, and echocardiography wards with more calmness".
Treatment manager of Astan Quds Razavi’s medical institute stressed, "To give better services to the pilgrims in last ten days of Safar, one medical base will be set up through a cooperation between this institute and Razavi Holy Shrine’s servants’ office in the route between Quchan and holy city of Mashhad".
He added, "Also, another medical base will be set up in the route between Mashhad and Sarakhs in last three days of Safar. This one will be formed through cooperation between Astan Quds Razavi’s medical institute and office of doorkeepers".
Akhavan Mahdavi referred to the active presence of Razavi health servants at Razavi Holy Shrine’s emergency bases and said, "Employing hospital beds and those special for CPR acts, equipped medical center at the Razavi Shrine’s Hedayat Courtyard renders its services in two separate parts for men and women".
He said, "Taking the advantage of its own ambulances, the medical institute is ready to transfer patients in critical conditions to the medical emergency center located at Hedayat Courtyard and also to send them to the city’s hospitals for complimentary measures".
It is worth mentioning that Astan Quds Razavi’s medical emergency center is rendering services to all Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims so that they can have easier access to medical centers while participating in mourning ceremonies of last days of Safar particularly Imam Reza’s (A.S.) martyrdom anniversary. It’s available in all 24 hours by calling internal number 2424, and public number of 00985132002424.
