All business operations of Astan Quds Razavi, the body in charge of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, must be according to the law and Sharia precepts.
Announcing the above in a visit to Nemooneh Agro-Industry Complex, Hoj. Ahmad Marvi the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said: “All revenues of Astan Quds Razavi must come from wholesome products and be based on law and Islamic Sharia precepts.”
Highlighting the need for boosting AQR revenues, Hoj. Marvi said the administration of holy shrine affairs is costly, therefore, “we must increase revenues to cover at least half of the expenses.”
He added: “AQR companies must be models to be followed by private sector companies. Imam Reza (AS) is the real owner of Astan Quds Razavi, and we must know that he is observing our performance. Thus, we must act in a deserving manner.”
Hoj. Marvi asked Nemooneh farm to put its facilities and know-how at the disposal of farmers in the underdeveloped regions. “There should be no competitive approach toward disadvantaged farmers or the private sector companies. This goes against Islamic culture and our religious teachings.”
Urging closer cooperation with the state-run organizations, ministries and universities, he said: “The elite and the gifted people in every sector must be given chance to visit Nemooneh farm to understand there are grounds for blooming of their talents inside the country.”
The United States and other western states, he stated, have left no stone unturned to attract Iranian elites. “The gifted Iranian youth must feel the ground is ready for them to use their talents.”
According to him, any initiative or practical innovation for self-sufficiency of the nation in producing seedling and agricultural products is an instance of good deed which deserves eternal reward.”
