Iraqi Tribe Leaders at AQR International Affairs

Director of the Astan Quds Razavi Department of International Affairs hosted a group of tribe leaders from Iraq for talks on a host of religious and social issues.
In an interview with Astan News correspondent, Hojat al-Islam Dr. Mohammad Ali Movahedi Mohassel, said the meeting with the Iraqi delegation focused on pilgrimage in Iran and Iraq.
He made the comment on the sidelines of the meeting held at the holy shrine of Imam Reza.
Movahhedi added that the Iraqi tribal chiefs presented their views on ways to facilitate the pilgrimage of the holy shrine of Imam Reza for Iraqi pilgrims. Astan Quds, which is in charge of managing the affairs of the holy shrine of Imam Reza, also presented its approaches on how to facilitate the pilgrimage of the holy shrine Imam Hussein in Iraq for Iranian pilgrims.
“Astan Quds Razavi, as the major service provider for pilgrims of Imam Reza, together with Iraqi leaders, who bear great influence on Iraqi people, must do their best to bolster ties between Iran and Iraq as a means of standing against enemies and foiling their plots,” underlined Movahedi Mohassel.
