AQR holds educational courses for newly converted Australian, New Zealand Muslims in holy shrine

Astan Quds Razavi’s Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs has held educational and specialized courses for thirty newly converted Muslim students from Australia and New Zealand during their weeklong stay in Mashhad.

“In these courses, in addition to boosting their knowledge, we tried to use letters of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the Western youth in order to get other nations acquainted with his ideas,” Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, the head of Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs stated.

He added that alongside conveying the ideas of the Leader, the religious experts endeavored to resolve doubts and misunderstandings about Islam, the issues and doubts that newly converted Muslims are facing, and explaining the attractions of Islam, and this way, communicating the message of the Infallible Imams (AS), especially Imam Reza (AS) to the Western youth.

Furthermore, courses were held on “resolving Shia and Sunni doubts,” getting familiar with halal and haram, “shrine architectural terminology” and two specialized sessions on “modern-day youth, insight, awaiting for reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AS)” attended by Manuchehr Mohammadi, a renowned professor of political sciences.
