“Khatun” Camp Garden, Center to Serve Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Goals
“Khatun Camp Garden will be the center for knowledge and education and will work towards the great goals of Imam Reza (A.S.)” the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said.
According to Astan News, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, at the opening ceremony of the Khatun Camp Garden noted, “Our duty as hosts of the noble guests of Imam Reza (A.S.) and those who seek spirituality through the illumination of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) is to provide the fields of knowledge raising, Razavi and prophetic education, the raising of knowledge for those who seek it and nurture and facilitate the pilgrimage.”
He argued that during the history, donators and vow-keepers in order to establish their name have dedicated properties to Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.), so that these charities would be recorded in the letter of their acts, and said, “Bildar Garden, by changing the status and usage, while maintaining the garden environment and its amusing atmosphere, became a center and a camp for young boys and teenagers, and so far thousands of young people have used this space. The garden is used for cultural activities and it is added daily to the richness of its programs.”
“Khatun Camp Garden also would become a camp for young women and girls with a suitable cultural atmosphere, in which there is vitality, awareness, hope and the same spiritual atmosphere of the Razavi Holy Shrine in this land with cultural activities,” he stated.
“In addition of Mashhadi ladies benefiting from this camp garden, the guests of Imam Reza (A.S.) will enjoy the facility from other cities and the Muslim world as well,” the member of the Expediency Discernment Council added.
“Khatun Camp Garden is a typical jihadi labor, which at a very short time was prepared as a cultural environment for women and its opening showed that it is possible to carry out many constructive measures in the country through the jihadi decision,” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi expressed.
He emphasized that along with the establishment of cultural centers such as Khatun Camp Garden we emphasize that the gardens should be preserved as the lungs and respiratory cores of the city and reiterated, “Khatun Camp is the center of knowledge and education, in the direction of the great goals of Imam Reza (A.S.). All people in the management team will have to consider their appointment to Imam Reza (A.S.), and what is done here is in accordance with the wishes of donators and Imam Reza (A.S.).”
He considered the Khatun Camp Garden as a space for knowledge raising, vitality, recreation, scientific elevation, innovation, brainstorming and thought for women and pointed out, “Today, many claim women's rights; they believe that women's freedom means liberating them from ethics, life commitments, their spouses and children. This is the western view of women; however, in Islamic viewpoint we should not allow the fundamental rights of women, which are the right to creativity, entrepreneurship and political and social role to be trampled.”
“In the Qur'anic culture, women can grow as men and there is no difference between men and women in reaching godly, humanly, enhancement and developmental positions. There are absolutely no shortcomings in women, and the physical difference between men and women is not an obstacle to their growth and development,” the board member of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership expressed.
Stating that women and men are mentioned in the holy Qur'an alongside each other and that both of them can reach the summit with the righteous deeds he said, “Women are creative, inventive and active and the view that women need patrons in the community is wrong.”
“Women’s rights are the right to gain knowledge, elevate their education, have their place in the family and play a role in the community; the oppression against women occurs when they deprive them of these rights,” the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi added.
“Even a woman who separates her husband, as the head of the family in the community has rights which is being entitled to her emotional enjoyment of her children and other social and political rights,” he reiterated.
“The West has not properly understood the women and women’s position in society; however, the holy Qur'an, Islam and the elders of religion recognize the position of a woman,” he commented.
“Today, the greatest violators of women’s rights are those who claim to defend women's rights in the West. Who should defend the women and children who are under fire today in Yemen? Westerners will defend the rights of women and children who die in Yemen? Westerners are the biggest violators of the rights of women and children, but have nominated themselves as advocates of women and children’s rights,” the member of the Expediency Discernment Council stressed.
“We are claiming women's rights and the Westerners are accused and must answer how do they wreak the rights of women and children,” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi remarked.
