“Islamic states and nations do not remain silent in the face of human crimes and tragedies that threaten the people of Myanmar” Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi during a meeting with the Pakistani Foreign Minister said.
According to Astan News, Seyyed Morteza Bakhtiari meeting with Khawaja Asif, Foreign Minister, and Nasser Khan Janjua, Head of the Supreme National Security Council of Pakistan, which was held at the Imam Reza's Holy Shrine, while condemning the crimes of the Myanmar Army and the actions of the Takfiri and Terrorist groups in the Middle East emphasized the need for synergy and cooperation in combating such inhuman acts.
“Human rights organizations and institutions did not take a stand on the killings carried out in Yemen, Syria, Bahrain and Myanmar and remain silent” he stated.
Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, pointing to the broad cultural and religious ties between Iran and Pakistan, said, “A large number of non-Iranian pilgrims of the Imam Reza's (A.S.) Illuminated Court are Pakistani dear pilgrims, who despite the threats of Salafist and Takfiri groups of the region are struggling to survive the journey and affectionately come to the Eighth Imam’s (A.S.) Shrine.”
“Astan Quds Razavi, regards its main duty to provide decent and qualitative services for these dear pilgrims, and in addition to performing religious and cultural ceremonies in Urdu and English in the porticos of Kowsar, Ghadir, Dar al-Rahmah, and Dar al-Marhamah, which are dedicated to the Pakistani pilgrims, based on the order of the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi pursues the construction of pilgrim houses and welfare and service complexes in Mirjaveh border” he expressed.
“Providing security and quality services to Pakistani pilgrims is one of the important issues that we hope will increase with effective interaction between the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan” Bakhtiari reiterated.
The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, also during the visit, expressed his contentment in visiting the Celestial Court of Imam Reza (A.S.), and mentioned the purpose of his trip the declaration of explicit stances of Islamabad in the fight against the Takfiri and terrorist groups, and added, “Solving pilgrims’ problems, and providing security and welfare for them is in line with the demands of the Pakistani government and we are ready to cooperate in this regard.”
It is worth noting that following the remarks of the President of the United States accusing Pakistan of working with active terrorists in the country, Khawaja Asif decided to travel to four regional influential countries of China, Russia, Iran and Turkey and discuss the issues with the authorities of these countries.
