Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine is replete with grief and sorrow on Tasua anniversary and thousands of mournful pilgrims have come to express their condolences and to hold mourning ceremonies on Imam Hussein’s (AS) martyrdom anniversary.
All sacred premises have turned into black and the holy shrine’s various porticos and courtyards are hosting pilgrims with different mourning ceremonies.
Surrounding neighborhoods and streets around the complex are now full of people coming to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) on foot to participate in one of the biggest gatherings and mourning ceremonies of Imam Hussein’s (AS) martyrdom.
Various mourning groups from different Iranian cities are holding their ceremonies in Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine now.
Foreign pilgrims of the shrine have their own mourning ceremonies in Dar al-Rahmah, Dar al-Marhamah and Kowsar porticos.
Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine will also provide people and pilgrims with special programs on Tasua and Ashura days in the hours ahead.
