On the eve of the demise anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.), the special programs of the last ten days of Safar by the management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi were announced.
According to Astan News correspondent, Seyyed Mohammad Jawad Hasheminejad, the director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi stated, “In order to explain the ethics of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) and his great son Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) and the propagation of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) conduct, special programs for Arabic-speaking pilgrims entitled ‘Mourning the Prophet’ are provided, which include lectures, contests, eulogy, mourning and chest beating.”
“These programs will start from the morning prayer call by the reading of the Arbaeen Prayer and the Prayer of the Prophet (S.A.W.) in the Dar al-Rahmeh Portico and will continue until the performing of the evening and night prayers,”
“Moreover, on the morning of Arbaeen, a ceremony dedicated to Arabs with the theme ‘sermon reading of Hazrat Zaynab in Yazid’s gathering’ after the noon and afternoon prayers will be held at the Portico of the Dar al-Marhameh, which will explain the personality of Hazrat Zaynab (S.A.) and her mission in the incident of Ashura,” said the director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi.
“Lectures, holding a conference entitled ‘Family and the Razavi Lifestyle’, the community of Urdu language pilgrims, poetry night, contest, mourning, and chest beating are among the programs that are going to be performed during these days in the Kowsar Portico of Razavi Holy Shrine” Hasheminejad expressed, referring to Urdu language pilgrims’ particular programs.
“According to the plans, this year, special programs have been considered separately for Afghan pilgrims, including a conference, a large gathering of religious groups at Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Eve of Strangers, the mourning and sermon reading ritual,” Hasheminejad reiterated.
“The conference ‘Family and the Razavi Lifestyle’ particular to Afghan sisters will also be held on Tuesday, November 6, at 15 o’clock, with the presence of Mrs. Allah Dadi at the room B of the entrance to Bab al-Hadi” the director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims ‘Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi added.
“The holding of the international book-reading competition ‘Al-Hoda Al-Vel’a’ in eleven languages from the contents of eighteen titles of books, the community of Azeri language speaking pilgrims at the night of the martyrdom of Imam Reza (A.S.) with the elegy reading of the preachers from Tabriz, Zanjan, Ardebil and Urmia, giving out 500 promotional package including cultural products, boards of martyrs’ images, flashcards, the holy dome and holy grave chamber’s posters are of other services of this management.”
