The people of Iran and Iraq are unified umma and their big asset is the love of Ahl al-Bayt or the Infallible Household of the Prophet (pbuh.
The statement was made by Mostafa Khaksar Qahrudi, the vice custodian of Astan Quds Razavi in his visit with Haidar Hassan al-Shemri, the newly appointed custodian of the holy shrine of Kadhimiya Imams on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Javad (AS).
Pointing to the great march of Arba'een, Qahrudi termed the event as "manifestation of ultimate love of Shia Muslims to the Infallible Household of the Prophet (pbuh)" that paves the ground for reappearance of the Imam of the Time (AS).
He attributed the recent victories of the two nations against enemies to the "blessings of Ahl al-Bayt", saying "A nation resorting to the culture promoted by Imam Ali (AS), Imam Hussein (AS) and Imam Reza (AS), will never stand on the weaker position." He noted that the defeat of the enemies by Muslim resistance groups in the region was a solid evidence for the claim.
Reiterating AQR chief custodian Hoj. Marvi's emphasis on mutual cooperation between Astan Quds Razavi and the custodianships of the holy shrines in Iraq, Qahrudi expressed hope such visits would result in qualitative and quantitative growth of services rendered to the pilgrims in both countries.
Speaking next, the Iraqi custodian wished further success for the AQR and its senior officials in their service-rendering to the Iraqi pilgrims of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
Highlighting the effects of Ahl al-Bayt culture in spiritual perfection and pedagogical upbringing of the Muslim society, Dr. Haidar Hassan al-Shemri said his organization was urgently pursuing development and reconstruction of Kadhimiya holy shrine.
