Astan Quds Razavi’s General Office of Public Relations is considered as the official media of this organization. This general office was established in 1358/ 1979 and it includes six areas of news and media office, office of publications and environmental advertisements, office of public relations, center of conferences and exhibitions, Haram weekly, and comprehensive portal of Astan Quds Razavi. As the organization’s main informing center, this general office has been very successful to render unique domestic and international services.
Vital Role of the Public Relations for an Organization
Informing the public and giving services to the audiences is really needed, establishing different organizations. Also, increasing activities of the organization and offering services in various arenas creates some kinds of gaps between large organizations and the public. These gaps may harm the rendered services. For this reason, situations must be managed and controlled in a way in which these gaps are all filled, as much as possible.
To respect the pilgrims and have a better informing on its performance, General Office of Public Relations of Astan Quds Razavi has done many different activities.
From the very beginning of its formation, this general office has conducted many unique activities in the area of giving information. These activities include publishing and producing Razavi contents and also publishing performance report of the organization’s different affiliates, preparing different brochures, booklets, posters, catalogues, and CDs, publishing Haram weekly journal and its special editions, conducting Astan Quds Razavi’s all environmental advertisements employing different banners, stands, billboards, and urban TVs, producing and covering different news in written media and cyberspace, covering organization’s activities, forming live contacts with national and international media, producing documentaries and various notification audio and video clips, establishing a two-way communication with the audience by holding exhibitions, tours, receiving suggestions and critiques and responding them, holding surveys, and finally having powerful presence in cyberspace by forming and managing Astan Quds Razavi News Website.

Considering the existence of public relations as the expressive language of Astan Quds Razavi’s different affiliates and also wide range of nationalities of this organization’s audience, activating the non-Persian section of Astan Quds Razavi News Website is really felt to have a better communication with the non-Persian speakers.
Thanks to the great effort of this section’s colleagues, the news of the website is also translated ever day into eight languages of Arabic, English, Urdu, French, Turkish, Spanish, German, and Malay. In addition to news, some other texts on Imam Reza’s (A.S.) biography and introduction of different sections of Astan Quds Razavi are displayed, to be used by non-Persian speakers, in the forms of photo reports or informing texts.
With respect to the multi-media nature of some productions of Astan Quds Razavi News Website, non-Persian sections of this website provides the non-Persian speakers with subtitle translations and dubbings of those Persian productions.
