A group of scholars, families of martyrs and pilgrims of the eighth Shia Imam took part in a ritual ceremony to clear dust from the sacred grave of Imam Reza, the eighth Shia Imam.
According to Astan News correspondent, the dust-clearing ceremony was held with the presence of Chief Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ibrahim Raeisi. Also in attendance were scholars, seminary school students, families of martyrs, and voluntary servants of imam Reza’s shrine.
During the ceremony, Quran reciters and eulogists of the household of Prophet Mohammad recited verses from the holy book of Islam and eulogies in admiration of the descendants of Prophet Mohammad, which added to the glory and spirituality of the ceremony. The event took place concurrently with the opening of the door leading to the holy tomb of Imam Reza.
